You're Not Crazy

My friend Alex sent this to me today. Thought I would share it with you.
20 Ways To Maintain A Healthy Level of Insanity
1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.
2. Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguise your voice.
3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
4. Put your garbage can on your desk and label it "In."
5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addictions, switch to espresso.
6. In the memo field of all your checks, write "For Sexual Favors."
7. Finish all your sentences with "In Accordance With The Prophecy."
8. Don't use any punctuation.
9. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.
10. Ask people what sex they are? Laugh hysterically after they answer.
11. Specify that your drive-through order Is "To Go."
12. Sing along at the opera.
13. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme?
14. Put mosquito netting around your work area and play tropical sounds all day.
15. Five days in advance, tell your friends you can't attend their party because you're not in the mood.
16. Have your coworkers address you by your wrestling name, Rock Hard.
17. When the money comes out the ATM, scream "I Won! I Won!"
18. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot, yelling,
"Run for your lives, they're loose!"
19. Tell your children over dinner. "Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go."
20. Copy this and send an email to Someone to make them smile.
It's called therapy.

I just put an old hairdryer in the car..I am going to try that tomorrow...:)))
Alex,
The owls have it!
Robert,
Okay, let me know the results. If all fails, you can be a mobile hair dresser. ;D
That was really insane..lolz
Dropped EC's for you btw and visited your site, would you care to visit mine? Thanks! http://www.kumagcow.com
This is another side to you Alexys. I almost thought you were an angel until I read the hair dryer fake that you have so inpired your readers to engage in:-)
SO funny. I love the sexual favors on the checks!
You have made it to my Fiasco Friday hit list with this one. :-)
Kumagcow,
Thanks for dropping by. Of course I will visit your site to see what you are up to?
Harmony,
My halo has always had a wink and a hair dryer in it. ;D
Wow, I am so grateful to have made it to your special list.
Thank you for laughing with me today.
Hi Lady Alexys,
This post really made my day. Believe or not, I have tried the #19 to my daughter one time but guess what she said - When will my brother leave?
I think you should submit similar posts next time.
Glad to drop by,
Angel Cuala
aka Guardian Angel
PS. I am finally leaving Entrecard - I will be leaving Entrecard soon
Hi Angel,
Your daughter is a genius. Ha ha ha.
I think you should try them all as an exercise. ;D
Entrecard is becoming a ghost town. I will always be grateful for our experience there.
My brother has actually done some of those things - I'll send this on to him, just in case he wants to catch up on the ones missed. Delightful list.
Broadway,
What a great sister you are. Thanks for taking participation to the next level. :D
Thanks Alexys for a good laugh, I needed it too! Re #15, I know someone who a month in advance of a baby shower invitation, said with a straight face, "Sorry, I can't make it, that's the day I wash my hair!" :-))
Cheers,
Miruh
You can always choose to believe anything you do is simply another example of your view of "normal." Some people do not believe in insanity.
Miruh,
I think that we should all try them, don't you? Or maybe pick a couple and experiment. :D
Liara,
Exactly. :D
That's hilarious!
I especially liked the one about telling one of the kids you have to let one go. :)
Hi Suzy,
I would love to see the kids face when they are told the news. :D
It's my belief that we can make the world a better place by always doing the unexpected.
