The Kaleidoscope In You

Every once in a while, my mind falls into a space that can't be defined with words. I am trapped in the middle of a kaleidoscope and all the colors are slowly merging into me.
I look to the right and see bright red. I look to the left and see deep blue. I look up and see flaming orange. We are all made of various colors. There are so many aspects to us as spiritual beings.
A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument using mirrors to produce changing symmetrical patterns. In 1816, Scottish physicist, Sir David Brewster invented this magical device that is sized a couple of inches to 12 feet.
With an eyepiece at one end and colored chips of glass loosely situated between two glass disks, this device stretches our imagination with two rectangular mirrors.
The mirrors lie against each other at an angle where they intersect near the tube’s axis. Patterns are formed where the glass chips lie and the patterns change as the chips fall into new positions when the tube rotates.
Each pattern undergoes multiple reflections in the mirrors in such a way as to produce a resulting symmetrical pattern as seen through the eyepiece.
Don’t kaleidoscope have the secret to life? They let life’s rotation change their perspective by tilting their view. When we turn a kaleidoscope, we can see many aspects of the mirror - many reflections.
When we tune into our own inner kaleidoscope, we can see just as many reflections - of ourselves. One way to keep our perspective tuned is to rotate it and see how it looks from a different angle.
Our world is not black and white. We live in a world of color and matter - meaningful measures of light that shades the darkness. Let your kaleidoscopic destiny take you in it’s arms and feed you your dreams.

Hello Alexys,
Aah! You have taken me back to a place of magic and awesome sensations. I spent hours with my kaleidoscope both the one I held up with my hands to peer through and the inner one I went to sleep with at night. Got to get both of those back!
May you revel in the ribbons of soothing color and magical shapes of the inner kaleidoscope my friend!
Robert,
I'm glad that I'm not the only one. It is a great space of creativity no doubt.
Miruh,
Let us both travel through those brilliant colors and feel those sensations. We can take them with us everywhere we go.
Happy kaleidoscoping my friend.
Wow. Your blog is beautiful!
Dear Alexys,
You rock my world with the rainbow of your love,
Theres an award for you at my place ;)
Much Love, M
Alexys, you express the sensations of a kindred spirit. I feel vivid colors and see the notes of music within and around your energy field. We are each engaged in our own kaleidoscope of life. Thank you for transforming love into yet another package we can savor and experience together.
Hi T,
Thank you my friend.
It refelcts you.:D
Hope to see you again soon.
Maithri,
An award? For me? Surely you are speaking of yourself - aren't you?
I will rock on over. Thanks.
Liara,
I do LOVE music and although I wanted to take piano lessons as a child, it wasn't in the cards. Having six children was all the music my mother needed to hear. However, I never lost that inkling for music and settled on taking flute lessons - it was much easier to carry than a piano. ;D
Thank you my dear friend for bringing the music of love.
