The Light Of Gratitude

“To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course.

Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

~Albert Schweitzer

Gratitude teaches one to welcome apparent trial or tribulation with open arms. As one learns to embrace everything as meaningful and invited for hidden purpose, the true learning process unfolds. You begin to sense what the veils of negative energy prevent you from experiencing. You advance in immeasurable ways and share infinite love as you bathe fully in it.

We have so much to be thankful for. Gratitude is the key to opening all of the doors of abundance and wisdom. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi Liara,

Gratitude is the heart that holds us and the urgency to express that which cannot be held.

Mark,

Gratitude makes the heart grow fonder. I am grateful for that.

Love the concept you dance around as you remind readers to appreciate the formless, "those things which cannot be held." Learning you are capable to discern the imperceptible is a life-transforming revelation.

What a ray of sunshine you are.
I'm sending you a hungry little soul who needs some of your famous chicken soup for the soul.

Bless you Alexys. How could one not be inspired ,grateful and made better by your loving soul?

Hi Liara,

Yes, it is. We are all formless temporarily wrapped in skin and bones heading towards ultimate freedom.

Wonderful quote, Alexys, and the photo goes well with it!

Congrats on being featured on SB! That's what brought me over here.

I love your words in your "About Me" paragraph! Your words here, shine your light. Looking forward to reading more...

Hi Uber,

I want that hungry little soul to open wide for the comforting taste of chicken soup.

Like Scarlett O' Hara said in Gone With The Wind,

"As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or kill. As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again."

Bless you my friend for your warm words.

Hi Lynda,

Thanks for your generous words. May your light always shine in your presence.

Hope to see you again soon.

But it is good to remember Alexys, and therefore I am talking to my self, that if we perceive we are struggling and have to overcome something, then we will continue to live in that world where we are struggling or searching to overcome. When we no longer struggle, we will naturally float into the right place at the right time knowing that everything we see is perfect and was meant just for us.

If we try to hold the seen or the unseen, then we lose sight of everything else seen or unseen because we become temporarily blinded by our narrow beam of focus.

Bernie,

I agree that if we focus on 'struggling' we are not focusing on coming out of it unscathed.

Struggling is also a mentality that gets attached and stays attached according to our ego.

The light is all we want, however narrow or expansive.
