Universal Laws

In the book, The Light Shall Set You Free by Drs. Milanovich and McCune, they explain that there are 12 Universal Laws, and 21 sub-laws, describing the correlation between cause and effect. Once understood, these laws would be able to enhance our life experience and boost our spiritual expansion.
These laws are based on the understanding that everything in the universe is energy, including us, and that energy moves in a circular motion. Looking at energy through a microscope, we see a whirling mass of electrons and energy atoms spinning rapidly and feel a connection to it on a profound level.
Everything we think, feel and say is comprised of energy. Whatever energy we put out boomerangs back to us in whatever form we put it out, thus we have the power to create peace, harmony and abundance.
1. The Law of Divine Oneness:
The Law of Divine Oneness helps us to understand that we live in a world where everything is connected to everything else. Everything we do, say, think and believe affects others and the universe around us.
2. The Law of Vibration:
This Universal Law states that everything in the Universe moves, vibrates, and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires, and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself.
3. The Law of Action:
The Law of Action must be applied in order for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words.
4. The Law of Correspondence:
This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world – energy, Light, vibration, and motion – have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe. “As above, so below.”
5. The Law of Cause and Effect:
This Universal Law states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we “reap what we have sown.”
6. The Law of Compensation:
This Universal Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships, and blessings.
7. The Law of Attraction:
This Universal Law demonstrates how we create the things, events, and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn, attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies.
8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy:
This Universal Law states that all persons have within them the power to change the conditions in their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change.
9. The Law of Relativity:
This Universal Law states that each person will receive a series of problems (Tests of Initiation) for the purpose of strengthening the Light within. We must consider each of these tests to be a challenge and remain connected to our hearts when proceeding to solve the problems. This law also teaches us to compare our problems to others’ problems and put everything into its proper perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, there is always someone who is in a worse position. It is all relative.
10. The Law of Polarity:
This Universal Law states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.
11. The Law of Rhythm:
This Universal Law states that everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God’s universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting too excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.
12. The Law of Gender:
This Universal Law states that everything has its masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and that these are the basis for all creation. We must balance the masculine and feminine energies within ourselves to become a Master.
Sub-laws
In addition to the 12 Universal Laws, Drs. Milanovich and McCune state there are 21 sub-laws of the Universe that are governed by the Higher Self.
The 21 sub-laws are human characteristics that relate to the Universal Laws. These characteristics are:
- Aspiration to A Higher Power
- Charity, Compassion
- Courage, Dedication Faith
- Forgiveness
- Generosity
- Grace
- Honesty
- Hope
- Joy
- Kindness
- Leadership
- Noninterference
- Patience
- Praise
- Responsibility
- Self-Love
- Thankfulness
- Unconditional Love.
What do you think of the universal laws? Do you think they bear truth? Do you think there are many more than listed here?

Wow!This is such an extensive and enlightening post. Makes me more want to learn things around me and the laws governing them..so I can understand them better.
Hey Lady A,
Oohh, the Divine must be sending me a message: I just read an article (by Liara) where she says exactly this (that humans are energy).
"1. The Law of Divine Oneness" - so true. It is like a snow ball. For example: if you do good to a brother (at home) he will feel nice, go out and make somebody else feel nice, whom in turn will make somebody else feel extremely nice and so on so on. The contrary is also true; if I have a fight with a cousin, bad humour may take over me and then I might let it out on someone; whom will let its confusion out on someone else and so forth so forth.
This being said, we are responsible for our actions (not only because of ourselves but mainly because of the world we live in). This is why, I try to be pleasant to others, I try to put a smile on their face so that they can turn around and do the same for someone else and so on...
"4. The Law of Correspondence: (...) "As above, so below.”" - Amen to that!
"5. The Law of Cause and Effect:" - everything has a reason to occur, and this is what many people do not understand. They deny God because of little children dying and of all the injustice in the world...they do not grasp that there is a complex reason behind these things, and that injustice is an earthly concept (another illusion, although esotericism says that it is sheer ignorance). Losing someone, something, is painful (we all know that), but we must not cling...we have to let go, for each of us has its own path.
"8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy" - i.e. Free Will (but many mystics and students of esotericism prefer not to use this word, because it is connected to Christianity [which is silly, because it is the same concept; and besides...what is wrong with learning a few things with other religions? By refusing to do this, these people prove that they are no different than the religious people]).
"9. The Law of Relativity: (...) No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, there is always someone who is in a worse position. It is all relative." - exactly! That is what I keep telling people...
"10. The Law of Polarity:" - my favourite law. Only I call it the Law of Opposites (same thing).
"12. The Law of Gender: (...) We must balance the masculine and feminine energies within ourselves to become a Master." - exactly!! Thank you, thank you, thank you...this is another thing I keep preaching about lol *nodding*.
"What do you think of the universal laws? Do you think they bear truth?" - I think they reflect somewhat what some iniates know, however one could debate if these could be called universal since not everybody accepts them as being true (in the first place); and others who consider it true, will say that there are others who are more universal than these. Oh well...you know humans.
But yes, it could be said that they bear truth.
"Do you think there are many more than listed here?" - yes, there are...after all the complexity of existence is so tight-woven that it would take forever to set up a list of sub-laws. But I can tell you that they missed three (which are the most important of them all, if these sub-laws are to be related with the Universal laws, and implemented): wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
Lady A, desert for the soul...that's what this article was; thank you *bowing*!
The Law Cheers
It takes more time to figure out who you are in real time than it takes to peel the layers of illusion. Learning more about the Universal laws is helpful wherever you are at in conscious awareness.
Michelle,
Yes, they are fascinating laws in which we can all benefit. Just remember that everything has a purpose.
Thanks for dropping in today.
Max,
The Divine always send us messages. I am getting one now. ;D
I agree, Liara has penned a great article on energy beings.
"1. The Law of Divine Oneness"
We are all balls of energy bouncing off of each other. You are putting a smile on my face as we speak. :D
"5. The Law of Cause and Effect:"
Life has a season.
"A time to be born, a time to die.
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep..."
"Losing someone, something, is painful (we all know that), but we must not cling...we have to let go, for each of us has its own path."
So true. So true.
"8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy"
"...what is wrong with learning a few things with other religions? By refusing to do this, these people prove that they are no different than the religious people])."
I know what you mean. I used to know people like that - who turned their nose up on religions other than their own. They are just short sighted. God doesn't belong to any religion.
"12. The Law of Gender:"
This seems to be one that goes over people's head - A LOT. They just don't get it at all. Consciousness is genderless, but we still have to balance the energy in which the genders create.
"I think they reflect somewhat what some iniates know, however one could debate if these could be called universal since not everybody accepts them as being true (in the first place); and others who consider it true, will say that there are others who are more universal than these."
I think even if people don't admit that there is some validity in them that they feel them on some level of their beingness.
"....I can tell you that they missed three (which are the most important of them all, if these sub-laws are to be related with the Universal laws, and implemented): wisdom, understanding and knowledge."
I agree and there are probably many more. Thank you for your marvelous additions. I appreciate the time and thought behind it.
Universal Love Cheers.
Liara,
Some never figure themselves out over many lifetimes, but I guess that is why we reincarnate. Soul is in no hurry to unravel.
Lady A,
"The Divine always send us messages. I am getting one now. ;D"
True. LOL only you... ;D!
"We are all balls of energy bouncing off of each other. You are putting a smile on my face as we speak. :D"
I love this imagery. That is so sweet of you...there, you have done the same to me :D.
"Life has a season.
"A time to be born, a time to die.
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep...""
Aaah, Ecclesiastes 3 (one of my favourite chapters) :D!
"So true. So true."

"I know what you mean. I used to know people like that - who turned their nose up on religions other than their own. They are just short sighted. God doesn't belong to any religion."
This kind of behaviour saddens me *nodding*.
Absolutely: God belongs to everybody (even to those who reject Him).
"This seems to be one that goes over people's head - A LOT. They just don't get it at all. Consciousness is genderless, but we still have to balance the energy in which the genders create."
It does go over people's head: unbelievable. Exactly, conciousness knows no gender (that is why today we can be a woman and tomorrow we may come as a man [in my case, God forbid though]), although (like you so well said) having a male/female body does seem to drive us to have certain gender-specific behaviours, we must strive to balance our energy - which requires a lot of discipline, but in the end it will lead to higher respect amongst humans.
"I think even if people don't admit that there is some validity in them that they feel them on some level of their beingness."
Oh, their validity cannot be denied; but calling them "Universal" could be a whole other matter. But I agree with you that they all feel them in their beingness (even if deep deep down).
"I agree and there are probably many more. Thank you for your marvelous additions. I appreciate the time and thought behind it."
You are right. You are most welcome, darling *bowing*. It is a pleasure exchanging thoughts with you :).
Harmony Cheers
These concepts presented as they are invite each soul to awaken further and rediscover what is already inside. Is part of a self-induced, decoding process.
Max,
The pleasure is all mine. :D
Liara,
It is the ongoing espression of love that aids us in decoding the puzzle.
I've just made my way over here after visiting Liara's blog, and it was wonderful and weird to stumble on these Universal Laws.
Alex, could you and/or perhaps Liara tell me how these "laws" were determined, and by whom? And what criteria was exerted upon the principles in order to establish them as "laws". For example, in science, isn't it true that in order for something to become a 'law', it must be universal, invariable, and capable of being proven over and over again no matter who is conducting the experiment, let's say.
I would love to hear your views on this!
Hi Grace,
There are universal laws that are really unwritten, the laws of nature as it were. They are found in many spiritual texts and mainly I see them in action throughout life. The only reason they are labeled laws is so we can better understand them in the physical world. They actually surpass the physical world. You can think of them as exacting energies, such as karma, love, etc.
