Watch The Signs

A local priest and pastor stood by the side of the road holding up a sign that read, "The End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it's too late!"
They planned to hold up the sign to each passing car.
"Leave us alone you religious nuts!," yelled the first driver as he sped by.
From around the curve they heard a big splash.
One clergy said to the other, "Do you think we should just put up a sign that says Bridge Out instead?"
There are signs everywhere to help us on our paths, but sometimes we just ignore them. Watch the signs in your life and follow them to have the best life possible.

Oh my gosh, my whole life is about signs! I get them from every direction: animals, songs on the radio, random emails, you name it! The Universe is always speaking to us, we just need to pay close attention and really listen.
It is so important to pay attention...
It is not just ignoring them but learning to recognize them for what they are. Coincidence or the Universe trying to tell you something? I'll stick with the Universe trying to tell me something but then again, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Hard questions, no easy answers. It's a matter of Faith.
Hi Megan,
So do I. I call them 'Waking Dreams.' There are so many of them. Life is a novel if we read the pages. :D
Hi Annie,
It really is important to watch what's happening outside and to know what's happening inside.
Hi Grace,
Yes that's true. Sometimes we don't know when to think of it as a cigar or a smoke signal? ;D
Ah, Alexys! The signs are everywhere...in the breeze, in the trees, in sightings of animal, insect and bird, in the happenstance and the expected.
The answers to so many of my prayers come in the form of dreams or signs in nature. It is so obvious to me, I can't ignore them and I have yet to feel let down. After 55 years of life, that seems to be a good sign in and of itself!
Love your posts...to thoughtful and so thought provoking.
Hi Linda,
When we close our eyes, we see signs. When we open them, we see signs. I agree, they are everywhere and sometimes they are right in front of us, yet we can't see them.
Happy blessings.
