An Odyssey of Love, Enlightenment and Finding the Fountain of You.

Loudly Quiet

Often we go through life with unresolved questions. We lament about the past, we wonder if we're doing the right thing, if we’re with the right person, if people love us, if we love them enough or if we're wasting our time?

Questions, questions, questions. The best meeting place for these questions and any questions you may have are in your soul.

It is your built-in psychiatrist, your best friend, your confidante, your conscious, a highly trained master in matter of the mind, body and soul. You are where you are because of the questions you've already answered.

If your questions are unresolved then perhaps you haven’t asked the right ones.

Instead of asking, “Why don’t they love me?,” the question(s) can be, “Why do I feel they don’t love me?, Why don’t I love myself?”

Revel in the quiet time. Turn up the volume to solitude. Tap into the infinity that is you. Solitude brings you closer to who you are, sharpens your mind, strengthens your soul and fine tunes your hearing.

Solitude is the power to heal yourself, hear yourself think, break your thinking and feel your life taking shape without thinking.

If you are questioning anything in your life, it is a sign to examine it closely.

If you are thinking, “What can I do to improve my life and make it the best life I possibly can?,” you can find your answers in solitude.

You have the power to change the world in between your ears.

“Live your questions now, and perhaps even without knowing it, you will live along some distant day into your answers.”

~Rainer Maria Rilke

Love is the only answer. All else obscures the truth.

Solitude is a very powerful state of being. It calls us. As the song says, "Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again". We need to remember to listen the solitude,to embrace the quiet and find our light in the darkness.

We are on the same page today. I have been longing for the solitude lately. In fact, just this morning I emailed several close friends to let them know I will talk to them after the holidays because I need the month of December to be alone. :)

I'm reading this just as I'm about to shut everything down for the night and do a meditation.
Perfect timing, Alexys!

Hi Liara,

So true. So beautiful.

Hi Mark,

Great song. Thanks for that reminder.

Hi Em,

I hear you. Being alone is the best tonic for discovering you. Many people don't have the courage to be alone. Good for you.

Hi Megan,

Happy meditation. Cleansing the spirit is so invigorating and good for the soul.

Learning to listen within and without is truly an art. Answers certainly do come to us in so many forms. Often they don't even come to us in words, but in the events that we experience in our everyday lives.

Hi Bern,

Yes. Answers are always around us in many forms, especially nature.

In order to move to the next level, consider the four corner stones of self-awarneess; concentrate on what matters, take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings, devote yourself and be diligent about how you harness and work with energy. Everything matters and nothing matters. They are actually one in the same.

Hi Liara,

Those are very good points to keep in mind. Thanks for those keys to inner peace. :D
