Love Is Gravity
I was reading about gravity the other day and saw similarities in love.
Gravity is the force of attraction by which terrestrial bodies tend to fall toward the center of the earth.
Love is attracted to love and pulls us together.
Gravity never changes because the mass of the earth never changes.
Love never changes, it just is. The power defines us.
We depend on gravity to hold things down and balance the mass and it’s the balancing nature of gravity that gives us stability.
The balancing nature of love supports that stability.
Without gravity everything not stuck in place would start floating.
Okay this one is tricky because love does make us float, but we put a stop to it when we stop feeling the connection to it.
Two of the more important things held on the ground by gravity are the atmosphere and the water in the oceans, lakes and rivers. Without gravity, the air in the atmosphere would make a mass exodus into space.
We can’t live without love entering our atmosphere. We just can’t.
Without an atmosphere, any living thing would die immediately and anything liquid would boil away into space.
It bears repeating, we can’t live without love entering our atmosphere.
Without gravity, the water in oceans, rivers and lakes would disappear, leaving earth with no water supply.
Without love, we would die unable to fulfill our mission to love.
We are here to love and be loved. Love is gravity. The stabilizing force that we can’t do without.
May you all be inspired by gravity.

Some human beings sense gravity is an illusion. Caroline Myss' new book is entitled Defy Gravity. Every person is invited to detach from words and their conditioned meanings in order to remember the truth beyond. People forget they are told and conditioned to believe what something is. In truth, we create the world we think about. We imagine into being our own ilusions. Imagine what the world is like for an energy being who does not believe in gravity, who is fearless and fully conscious. Every being is moving in this direction of inner knowing or awareness. You may not be able to describe what you feel, but you know what you feel without question. Love is all there is.
Beautiful and thought provoking... love gives breath to our spirit, as oxygen gives breath to our heart... so powerful!
What a beautiful, beautiful post --- love surely is the force that stabilizes us and gives us the ability to not only survive, but thrive. Love is the all-powerful energy that, like water, can overcome all else.
And on that note, much love to you, Alexys!
Alexys,
This a brilliant comparison! We are love!
Hi Liara,
Gravity has the power to separate illusion from reality because it is both. The reality keeps us grounded and the illusion lifts us. As we move further into the ethers, we are released into love's arms.
Hi Roxy,
Love is oxygen, if we don't get enough we die.
Hi Megan,
Thank you. I like that - love makes us thrive. We are thriving survivors. Much love to you too my friend.
Hi Mark,
Thanks. We are love. Love is us.
Hi Alexys,
I am with Liara on this one. I can only see the graveness of gravity. It is a weight and concept to be transcended. I am too in love with flying to be grounded to the third dimension. When one is free from the thought of gravity, then anything can be accomplished. This is a realm where dreams come true. This to me is the idea of the fifth dimension where attachments dissolve and the weight of life vanishes. There just Is, and nothing gets in the way of Being, especially a third dimensional force such as gravity.
Hi Bern,
Zero gravity is an awesome state too. :D
Gravity is what pulls us together.
Fear is what tears us apart.
Hi Shelly,
So true. Love brings us together.
