What nostalgia! This story about glimpsing MJ causes me to think of the film, Music & Lyrics. Hugh Grant played a singer from an 80s boy band. His character went through his own identity crisis when his career evolved to struggle to get modern gigs at amusement parks. He was considered a thing of the past.

It can be difficult for human beings to recreate a sense of identity when the professional focus of their lives is no longer what they used to be known for. This is an invitation for everyone to realize, "you are not what you do." You are far more than that, and you will begin to realize the truth when you are good and ready.

Isn't the moonwalk just awesome? It is like he is floating on air. You really had gloved earrings?

A week prior to seeing Michael Jackson in Borders, I saw Ben Stiller in the same place looking like something the cat dragged in.

I love how you described all the differeneces in what you saw in him and the chronology, Alexys.

His fall from grace was one incident. OJ Simpson's. Brittany Spears. Magic Johnson. Ryan O'Neal. I'm sure there are a few more, but none come to mind right now...

The one surreal incident that I remeber ever having was I was in a courtroom watching the murder-forhire trial of a man who I had had a crush on for several years. I hadn't known he was a bad guy when we trained at the same gym for a few years - he seemed so sweet and he was english and so polite and charming, and he had used to box professionally and so he had this magnificent body, and....

Anyway, I was blown away to have read in the paper about this whole thing, and went to the courtroom to watch the trial, which took a week altogether.

And as I was watching his face on the witness stand, totally focused on him while the prosecutor questioned him - his face transformed into an absolutely horrible demonic image.

I was shicked and thought I was seeing things. I blinked, but there it still was. Not the David Amos I knew, but a monster's face full of hate and total darkness.

It really creeped me out. I've never forgotten it.

One of my very spiritual friends said as I got higher into the realms, things that like would happen more often - I would see good and evil like that at times despite what someone's earth appearance was.

This was a awesome share. You saw another human being, who we probably only know what we are told by the money hungry media. I love the VH1 Michael Jackson story, only because he was the man that made us try to moonwalk in 6th grade. He was the one who inspired my glove earrings. And his old music to this day still makes me smile. I am not in a place to judge someone, so I never really talk about Michael Jackson the "human being." Since I don't know all the facts. I only pray for him and all the families that suffer.

As for celebrity, I have to share Axl W. Rose. Twice, I came across him. The first time was after a Metallica concert. Had to be 1988 or 1989. After the show, I was chatting with a few friends I saw there. The friend I came with was about 20 feet away talking to other people. I glance at her, and she is staring at me, eyes wide, screaming KIM, KIM. I turn around, and Axl walked behind me, gave me a big smile, and walked away. giggle now. Years later, I worked at Washington Mutual, morgage department, customer service. I get a call from someone who just refinanced, and wants to change mailing address. So I asked him his name, SS#, on the screen, W AXl Rose. So I said the name on the account, he verified. Then I said, and whom am I speaking to, William Rose. Let me say, I played the phone on mute, yelped, and then handled the call. I was totally professional until the end. As I verified the new address, my voice cracked. AND AXL ROSE GIGGLED AT ME. Surreal? or Embarrassed? YOU DECIDE!! LOL!

Overall I must say that I don't go for celebrities. I feel that people tend to idolize them too much rather than looking at them as the people they are.

For me, I appreciate the skills, gifts, and charisma that some people posses, but I never let that have too much influence on my idea of them as a person.

2002: Ok, I didn't like the way he was giving the bottle to his son, Prince Michael II (again, weird name to give to a child); he was shaking that kid in such a way, that he gave me a headache. Other than that, I have no issues with MJ - his kids are gorgeous (I am sure they are behind those masks)...

1994: weird marriage! What did she see in him? It remains a mystery to me *nodding*...

1984: oh yeah, poor guy! I was 7, when his hair got burned...God forbid that something like this ever happens to one of us *nodding*! His hair was never the same again!

Thriller: I have this record until today (I keep it as if it were a treasure)!! Smashing!! I even did a choreography to the sound of "Beat it!" in basic school LOL...it was cute!

MJ is the king of dance! He inspired so many artists; so many fans...he was great! And I think he will always be remembered, always!

"Have you ever had a surreal moment, when you questioned what you were seeing, hearing or doing?" - yes, when I had my first paranormal experience.

"Why do you suppose it was surreal?" - Because seeing a doll moving by itself, when your only 8 years old...is kind of surreal.

"Has there been an incident where a celebrity has fallen in your eyes? What happened?" - when I lived in London, Kensington, I saw a lot of British celebrities; but there were two I used to meet more often (the leading singer of Oasis, and the singer of Fine Young Cannibals). It didn't happen anything, I would meet them in the sandwich shop, or either in Brompton Road (shopping) and that was it (I never asked for autographs, nor approached them; I say 'live them kids alone' lol)...
